    Hampton Roads Rising 25

    GeoEnvironmental Resources was awarded the Hampton Roads "Rising 25" award by the Small Business Development Center, a division of the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce. This award is given to companies that are recognized by local businesses as setting the pace for excellence and quality of service. This award was special in that it came from our clients in recognition of our technical expertise and level of service that we strive to provide on a daily basis.

    Business & Education Partner of the of Year

    GeoEnvironmental Resources was awarded Outstanding Business Partner of the Year for the company's dedication to the Suffolk Public School System. Every year a business participating in the Partners-In-Education program is awarded the Planters Business & Education Partnership Award. Volunteers from GER run a weekly after school program, Science Club, for fourth and fifth graders at Booker T. Washington Elementary School. During the school year student performance was tracked. In every case student performance increased two letter grades. Due to the overwhelming success of the program, GER was presented with this award.

    Ambassador Extraordinaire

    Mr. H. Nelson Adcock, GER’s President, was awarded the Ambassador Extraordinaire award by the City of Virginia Beach Department of Convention and Visitor Development for his outstanding and unselfish dedication to the City’s economic enhancement.

    Excellence in Development Design Award

    GeoEnvironmental Resources received an award of merit from the Hampton Roads Association of Commercial Real Estate for best recreational/entertainment for the renovation of the Norva Theater in Norfolk, Virginia. The association presents this award annually for outstanding commercial projects. GER provided hazardous materials consulting services for the project team.

    Outstanding Engineering Achievement

    The Engineers Club of Hampton Roads awarded its annual Outstanding Engineering Achievement Award by Hampton Roads Engineers to TranSystems for the USS Wisconsin mooring at Nauticus. This program serves to recognize Hampton Roads engineers for outstanding technical accomplishments and highlights significant engineering activity by Hampton Roads engineers. GER provided geotechnical services for the project.

    Chairman’s Award

    GeoEnvironmental Resources’ president, Mr. H. Nelson Adcock, received the Chairman’s Award from the Hampton Roads Chamber of Commerce for his outstanding services to the Hampton Roads business community. The award recognizes local business leaders’ efforts for sustaining and improving economic activity in the region.
